MUSIC

One Chord Till Anarchy moves between two worlds: cinematic darksynth and synthwave in the tradition of John Carpenter, Vangelis, Perturbator, and Carpenter Brut — and vocal collaborations with Kristian Bleed, former voice of Down In the Lab, ranging from the gothic atmosphere of Sisters of Mercy to the sleek propulsion of Julien-K. Dark, cinematic, and uncompromising, across every release.

Imminent System Failure

The debut album — the full arc, prelude to reprise. Eleven tracks of cinematic, genre-crossing darksynth that move from the arrival through the reckoning and out the other side. A world built on a deep arsenal of vintage hardware and modern production, in the company of John Carpenter, Vangelis, Perturbator, Skinny Puppy, and deadmau5. A complete One Chord Till Anarchy story in one record.

Written, arranged & performed by Daniel Ruppar at Maison de Maldoror Studios, with "Phosphorite (A New Vision)" co-written by and featuring Kristian Bleed. Mastered at DoctorMix and Metropolis Studios, London. Zeta Reticuli Invasion Records.

Parallax cover art
Single // Two Tracks

Parallax

The reckoning. If Fear the Night is the arrival, Parallax is what stands in the way — a cosmic leviathan rising against a world in the void. Glacial, monolithic darksynth on a planetary scale, dread rendered in widescreen. Paired with "Captain Carpenter," a salute to the master whose shadow falls across the project.

Written & performed by Daniel Ruppar at Maison de Maldoror Studios. Both tracks mastered by Tony Cousins at Metropolis Studios, London. Zeta Reticuli Invasion Records.

Fear the Night

Where the story begins. Headlights on a desert highway, a sky that's no longer empty — the night the visitors arrive. One Chord Till Anarchy's most-streamed track and the doorway into its world: Carpenter-style dread and modern darksynth drive built for the moment the lights go out, in the lineage of Perturbator and Carpenter Brut.

A three-song single — Fear the Night / The Chord / Expanse. Written, performed & produced by Daniel Ruppar at Maison de Maldoror Studios. Mastered by DoctorMix, London. Zeta Reticuli Invasion Records.

Sew Pretty cover art
Single // feat. Kristian Bleed

Sew Pretty

Industrial death pop with the volume up with a dash of early Nine Inch Nails — Kristian Bleed out front for the snarl and swagger.

Written by Jonn13, Kristian Bleed & Daniel Ruppar. Produced, mixed & mastered by Daniel Ruppar at Maison de Maldoror Studios. Zeta Reticuli Invasion Records.

Down cover art
Single // feat. Kristian Bleed // Most Streamed

Down

Not a cover — a reclamation. "Down" began with Kristian Bleed's voice on Candy Push's original; here he returns to it, and One Chord Till Anarchy rebuilds the track as goth electronic with real weight for today's electronic music. The atmosphere of Sisters of Mercy's Floodland rendered through period-correct hardware and two layered choirs, human and machine. Over it all, Kristian Bleed — theatrical and commanding, in the lineage of Peter Murphy and Rozz Williams.

Written by Kristian Bleed, Daniel Ruppar & Wolfgang Electric. Originally performed by Kristian Bleed with Candy Push. Vocal recorded at Pleasure Palace Mobile, Cologne. Produced, mixed & mastered by Daniel Ruppar at Maison de Maldoror Studios. Zeta Reticuli Invasion Records.

Hyperdrive cover art
Single

Hyperdrive

Full-throttle cyberpunk chase music — a black bike cutting through neon rain. Built on the low end of a Roland JV-880 and Korg MS-20, this one is pure momentum from the first bar to the last, no story required.

Written, performed & produced by Daniel Ruppar at Maison de Maldoror Studios. Mastered by DoctorMix, London. Zeta Reticuli Invasion Records.

Psychosynthesis cover art
Single // feat. Kristian Bleed

Psychosynthesis

The vocal world at its most propulsive. Sleek, modern electronic rock in the orbit of Julien-K — gloss and muscle, driving rhythm under widescreen synths, and synthetic guitar.

Written by Daniel Ruppar & Kristian Bleed. Produced, mixed & mastered by Daniel Ruppar at Maison de Maldoror Studios. Zeta Reticuli Invasion Records.

Amethyst cover art
Single

Amethyst

The furthest reach into abstraction. Amethyst takes its cue from Coil's ritual dissonance and fuses it with a cinematic soundtrack approach, dubstep low end, and modern electronic production — dread built from weight and disintegration rather than melody.

Written & performed by Daniel Ruppar at Maison de Maldoror Studios. Zeta Reticuli Invasion Records.

Not Yet American (Foreign Star Remix) cover art
Single // Two Tracks // feat. Kristian Bleed

Not Yet American (Foreign Star Remix)

An energetic, aggressive electronic dance track grounded in darksynth, synthpop, and electro-industrial influences — built for playlists that lean into synthwave, aggressive electro, and electronic-based soundscapes. FFO: Carpenter Brut, Perturbator, deadmau5.

Not Yet American speaks to the breakdown of the American dream and the downfall of a society that keeps so many outside it — a step closer to the dystopian future the whole project is built around.

A two-track release, paired with Terminate. Vocals on Not Yet American — Kristian Bleed. Produced by Daniel Ruppar. Released September 14, 2025. Zeta Reticuli Invasion Records.
